The architect Tommaso Spadolini, following in his father’s footstep, after an initial, active collaboration with his father, Prof. Arch. Pier Luigi Spadolini, in projects and designs such as the famous AKHIR built by Cantieri di Pisa, has gradually made a name for himself in pleasure boats.

In 1984, he turned the oldest Italian Studio of Naval Architecture into Design Studio Spadolini srl, a company that carries out business all around the world, working closely with other leading architects. The planning philosophy of the Design Studio Spadolini is expressed in combining the complexity of the construction in the shipyard on one side and the ship- owner’s personal requirements on the other. A perfect union between design and ergonomics of the interior is carried out in boats that display innovative and harmonious lines. These aerodynamic forms are the result of designing gentle curves and sinuous profiles, with attention to the formal planning attention aimed at obtaining the greatest functionality and elegance. All this is possible thanks to a careful selection of materials, shapes, and colors that will continue to characterize the interiors of pleasure boats.
